So I've told you how I love Swagbucks. Earning Swag Bucks is definitely a strategy! Here are some tips that I have found to work for me:
- Set a daily goal for yourself. I use 50 as my goal and have easily acheived this with searches and codes. My husband also searches with Swagbucks, so that helps!
- Add the Swagbucks Toolbar. It is easy to forget to use Swagbucks and the toolbar may be what you need to remember to search though Swagbucks. You can even receive random rewards for having the toolbar!
- Refer your friends!!! This is the easiest way to earn. If you have a Facebook account, consider placing your referral there. You can now connect to Facebook via Swagbucks! Details HERE.
- Check the Swagbucks Blog and read your Swagbucks emails for codes to earn points.
- Type your web addresses into the search box at Swagbucks. I can't tell you how many Swag Bucks I have earned for typing in Google or Money Saving Madness.
This year I am challenging my readers to use Swagbucks this year to earn "money" for Christmas.
Here is how I do it:
- Search and win through Swagbucks daily
- Redeem your points for gift cards as soon as you have enough (Amazon is the "best deal". Don't save your Swagbucks up until Christmas. There are redemption limits and you won't be able to redeem them in time.)
- "Purchase" your gift cards or Amazon e-cards (75% of my Swagbucks go to Amazon)
- Physical Gift Cards will arrive by mail. Save them, or buy your gifts early.
- Amazon e-cards will arrived in your email. Use the e-card code and upload your money to your Amazon account. It will be safe there until you are ready to make your purchases.

Thanks for this post. I signed up a while but never used it. I just installed the toolbar, my question is, do I have to stay logged in to get swagbucks?

Ge- no you don't have to be logged on to get them. I know b/c occasionally my comp. Will log me out. If I search the normal "you've won 1 SB!". Will pop up with a message to log in to redeem it. There will be log-in boxes right there for you to use.
Do you guys do the offers. Like get 75 sb for a trial of netflix? Can you cancel before your card is charged?
GREAT idea for a Challenge! I have YET to use mine for anything since I started about 9 months ago! I would LOVE to win 50 SB! My highest was 30 :) I just wish FRIDAYS the website wasn't so slowwww...
I started doing Swagbucks a year ago and I have been able to save mine up and buy Christmas and birthday presents! I love SWAGbucks!

I'm all for this! I only started in early march and already have earned $25 in Amazon e-cards. Love it! By Christmas I should be able to buy a few items for my daughter!
How many swag bucks did you get last yr to get all your gifts?
I think right now , I am up to 1500 if not a little more.
In the past 2 months or so I've been required to type in a 3 letter code to claim SB whenever I win them for a search. Does it do this to everyone else? It doesnt work right with my home computer so I cant get credit for searches I do at home :(

The code is to prevent spammers.
Make sure to be signed in when you are searching to get your Swagbucks. You should get them anyway, but try signing in and turning off your pop up blocker.
I am always signed in when I search so thats not it. I changed my setting to allow pop ups from Swagbucks.com, we'll she if that helps. Thanks for the tip!
I do better searching on regular days... nothing much seems to happen on mega swagbucks Friday.
