If you have the extra freezer space, you might want to consider stocking up on vegetables this month! Maybe you noticed this deal in my Walmart Deals post. Right now you can purchase the unsauced Bird's Eye Steamfresh vegetables for just $.88 per package. That is a great deal in itself, then use the $.50/1 Steamfresh coupon from the 10/18 SmartSource insert to get them for only $.38 per package. This is definitely a stock up price.
Maybe you hadn't considered stocking up on these, but consider this: These vegetables don't "expire" until October 2011 or later! Consider how many packages of vegetables your family could eat between now and 2011. I know at my house we eat them nightly with meals. I won't be buying 365 packages but I did get 40 coupons from my favorite clipping service!

Maybe its just a regional coupon, but my 50 cents off was for the sauced veggies and the 35 cents was for the unsauced......
I got $.50 for both. The sauced is also a good deal. $1.25 right now with $.50 off means only $.75 each. That's less than canned!
