Happy New Year!

In just a few hours it will be 2010.  It is hard to believe!  It has been a whirlwind year for me in so many ways.  While I have faced many ups and downs in my personal life, I have much to be thankful for including a happy, healthy family and such wonderful friends in all of you!  I am looking forward to starting anew in 2010.  I have many goals for the year, and for this blog.  First, in a few weeks Money Saving Madness will be getting a makeover!  I am launching the new look soon and think you will find things much easier to navigate.   There will be some new features and and exciting giveaways to help celebrate the bloggy milestone - my ONE YEAR anniversary!

I started this blog for a couple of reasons.  First, because I love deal finding.  I had been a serious deal shopper for a while and one day decided to "try out" creating a blog just for fun.  I never shared it even with my friends for several months.  Even then, it wasn't a serious venture.  I spent months just learning the ropes and only posted my favorite deals.  Then somewhere along the way, I gained lots of new readers and many new friends!  It was then I realized that so many of you were counting on me to get the deals posted!

I am astonished at the number of GREAT deals we've scored this past year!  One of my favorites in recent months has to be the 1-800-Flowers deal!  I am really looking forward to bringing more deals your way in 2010!
