I actually avoid these light bulbs because they have mercury inside of them. the chance of breaking them in the house and the contamination of mercury in my house or in the garbage and even at the landfill is significant. So NO thanks. Do people even realize the cleanup is hazardous to their health?
I’ve heard in a few years there will be no other choice but this type of bulb. I’ve broken several of them in my home.
