What the heck are ham balls?  That’s the question I asked my husband nearly 15 years ago.  I had never heard of them and he told me they were one of his favorite meals.

I’ve never made ham loaf from scratch.  We have two local stores that sell it pre-ground and mixed.  It comes just like ground beef, but is a combination of ham and pork.  Add the glaze, and it’s a sweet and salty burst of flavor that truly grows on you

This meal is a rare treat for us.  This meat never goes on sale and it’s a bit pricey. My whole family absolutely loves it.
