Ihe small chevy cars are really comfortable and roomy. You dont feel like you are squashed and I would love to own one someday. Great way to save money with high gas prices. Love amazon too….Great selection of hard to find items from all their sellers.
I cut my teeth parellel parking in the Koreatown district of Los Angeles. There was NO parking, you had to “stalk” people walking with keys in their hands to get their spaces, and maybe… just maybe…. you might be able to fit your car in. I drove a small wagon so I usually got lucky. Then, I switched to a Jeep Liberty, easy to handle, but being up high I couldn’t always see well to park. Of course, I bragged about my LA parking experiences just before I totally blew an easy parking task….right in front of my daughter’s school. No one was hurt, no metal met metal, but I did jump the curb and scare some kindergarteners. My then second grade daughter was not amused.
I paralell parked one time on a shady street and when I went to leaved the snow and ice had frozen and my wheels would just spin. This older guy who went to my high school, who I always much too shy to talk to…well he came walking down the sidewalk, saw my predicament and pushed my car right out!
The worst part about parallel parking is running over the curb when people are watching. I would love to win this!
