When Aldi asked me to have a pizza night with my kids, I jumped at the chance to have a little fun with them making a frugal, yet extremely delicious dinner! My ingredients were purchased at Aldi, and we were able to make some very nice pizzas for under well under $10.
Recommended Ingredients:
Mama Cozi Pizza Crust, English Muffins or Bread Machine Dough
1 Can Happy Harvest Pizza Sauce
Stonemill Essentials Basil & Oregano
Shredded Happy Farms Mozzarella
Mama Cozi Pepperoni
Vegetable (optional) for topping or to eat with the pizza!
For the crust, you can use your favorite or easiest method! We love homemade dough crusts and it was super fun for my older kids to stretch their dough like a pizza chef!
I made one batch of dough in the bread machine and split it in 4. This made some pretty large pizzas! I love using my bread machine for this dough recipe (see below) and the Baker’s Corner flour from Aldi works fantastic!
The kids topped their crusts with sauce, cheese pepperoni and a bit of oregano and basil. We saved the veggies for a snack while the pizzas cooked.
Enjoy this recipe with your kids, and save some money by shopping at Aldi!
Aldi provided me with gift certificates to buy my ingredients, in exchange for my honest opinion. All opinions are my own.
